Diagnostics North East

Diagnostics North East (DxNE) is an umbrella organisation, dedicated to developing the North East of England as a leader in diagnostic development and health innovation.

Originally established in 2018, DxNE was created in recognition of the unique and unrivalled infrastructure and expertise in place across the region to support the full diagnostic development pathway of in vitro diagnostics, from discovery, development, and evaluation through to adoption and commercialisation.

Today, DxNE acts as a vehicle to actively drive a collaborative and integrated approach to diagnostic development in the North East of England for better patient outcomes.

With key expertise in in vitro diagnostics, at DxNE we are now working to expand our remit, to support research and innovation across different categories of diagnostics, linking technology and data to drive the delivery of truly integrated diagnostics
